ABOUT US

The HBCD team in Arkansas is located in Little Rock at Arkansas Children’s Research Institute and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. We are eager to welcome our families to our study! If you live in central Arkansas (Pulaski, Faulkner, Saline, Lonoke, or Jefferson County) and you are pregnant, we would love to hear from you. The Arkansas Children’s Research Institute (ACRI) is located on the campus of Arkansas Children’s where you will find a child-friendly environment and you will quickly see that children are at the center of everything that we do. We want our study families to enjoy our research visits. We can provide transportation assistance, flexible scheduling, snacks and meal vouchers for the on-site cafeteria, reimbursement for mileage and compensation for your time. With the help of our community partners, who serve on our Community Advisory Board, we can connect families to resources if needed. Our research team shares a vision for a future in which all children can grow up to be healthy adults. We are excited to launch HBCD in Arkansas!
